You cannot haz ze duck… or can you?

L.A. Story is a favorite in this household, and thus, “he cannot have ze duck” one of our favorite lines (just rent the movie if you haven’t seen it). However, tonight we had ze duck, stuffed with ze foie gras, served with ze Chateauneuf de Pape, and a side of ze best wild rice with flash-fried-brussel-sprouts-in-duck-fat you could ever imagine.

For dessert, ze tarte tatin made with gravenstein and granny smith apples. How have I never made this before? So good, we had two slices.

Oeufs! That’s the sound I’m making now – the sound of a French egg (which is probably what I look like!). Double oeufs!
