Ahhh, one of my favorites. I lived off these in college. Today I decided to try the Cup4Cup flour, and it worked really well. Perfect texture. Amazingly, my willpower has increased since my college days. I’ve only eater a quarter of this so far.
Gravenstein apples, Point Reyes blue cheese, candied & spiced hazelnuts, over spinach with a mustard vinaigrette. Would have been phenomenal if I’d paired that dressing with a sweeter apple, or had done a sweeter balsalmic with the gravenstein. The two together, however, made for a bit of a puckery meal.
I’m missing Hog’s Breath’s roasted chicken so much I made my own version, along with a quasi-succotash. With a Marimar chardonnay, I was not disappointed.
